TaskWave: a Trello clone demonstrating my SaaS expertise

TaskWave stands as a testament to my capability to recreate and adapt successful SaaS platforms for business environments. As a clone of the popular Trello platform, TaskWave is meticulously crafted using the latest Next.js 14 framework, embodying the core functionalities essential for effective corporate task management. It offers a user-friendly interface, mirroring Trello’s ease of use while incorporating key elements such as a user and organization system with roles, a versatile board, list, and card system for task management, and a transparent activity log. TaskWave is designed not just as a clone, but as a demonstration of my proficiency in developing real-world SaaS solutions that meet the specific needs of businesses, balancing familiar usability with essential corporate features.

Core features emulating Trello’s functionality

TaskWave faithfully replicates key features of Trello, tailored for effective task management within business contexts. It encompasses a user and organization system with defined roles, a free plan allowing up to five boards per organization, and a paid subscription option for organizations seeking unlimited boards. The platform includes a fully-fledged board, list, and card creation system with drag and drop functionality, enabling comprehensive task management. Additionally, an activity log feature provides insights into user actions, detailing “who did what and when,” enhancing transparency and accountability in project management.

Seamless subscription management and user experience

TaskWave’s user experience is designed for simplicity and efficiency, mirroring the intuitive interface of Trello while catering to the needs of businesses. A key feature is the subscription management page, which allows users to initiate, renew, or end their subscriptions effortlessly. This integration not only demonstrates my ability to implement essential SaaS functionalities but also underscores my commitment to providing a seamless, user-friendly platform for task and project management in a corporate setting. TaskWave stands as a robust example of my capabilities in creating real-world SaaS applications, mirroring the utility and design of established platforms while focusing on the essential needs of businesses.
